Ambassador Lee meets with Pastor Baptiste

In response to its Harvest Ingathering Humanitarian Appeal to solicit donations and gifts from the public to aid in the Education delivery and Social ministry of the church, Ambassador Leo Lee made a donation of EC1,000 to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and pledged that the Embassy of Republic of China (Taiwan) would work closely with the church in its efforts to help the elderly and the poor.{{more}}

Ambassador Lee visited the Seventh-Day Adventist Church’s office in Kingstown on February 12, 2009.

Pastor Dermoth Baptiste explained that the Seventh-Day Adventist Church worked to help people in the St. Vincent and Grenadines. He also stated that the church operates two secondary and three primary schools, 40 community services units and a Dental Clinic.

At the end of the meeting, Pastor Baptiste expressed his appreciation by giving Ambassador Lee a series of books on the lifestyle of the Adventists.
