LIME customers have been treated to a series of random acts of kindness during this week. Customers in St Vincent and the Grenadines who visited the LIME office on Monday were treated to wine and cheese. And the pampering continued for the entire week whereby customers were given a chance to pick discounts up to 10% on their LIME phone bill and win daily prizes at local business houses.{{more}}

Head of Finance Lydia Courtney-Francis explained that this initiative is aimed at debt collection, and said “at the same time customers can get our version of a stimulus whereby they can win vouchers valued at $500 to shop at local business houses. And today, Friday, one lucky customer will win 100% discount off their LIME phone bill. So this is exciting for our customers and they have responded well to this initiative.”

One customer from Bequia when interviewed expressed the view that any little savings that they receive will go a long way to ease the squeeze in these hard times. He commented: “If LIME can deliver this level of service on a consistent level then we the customers have some good days ahead and we look forward to it. I received a 10% discount on my bill and hope to win one of the big prizes at the end of March.”

At the end of March, three lucky customers will win prizes for zeroing their balance.

Leslie Jack, Head of Retail Sales and Customer Experience (Ag), feels that this week is an indication that LIME loves its customers and Valentine is as appropriate as any other time to express this love. “At the end of this extended promotion, in March three lucky customers will walk away with excellent prizes. LIME will pay a customer’s phone bill up to a value of $2,000 for one year, another customer will win $1,800 in groceries and another will win $1,200 in fuel for one year. I can’t think of anything more exciting than what is happening at LIME for Valentine’s,” said Jack.

This week’s promotion climaxes today when LIME customers will receive big discounts on handsets, his and hers Valentine t-shirts, chocolates and other LIME giveaways.

LIME is also offering four hours of free calls at nights for customers who speak for five minutes during the day. Also one lucky customer will win an all expenses paid Caribbean cruise for two aboard the luxurious Carnival Victory when they text LOVE to 5463.
