Three lucky patrons of STANGRO Supermarket have been awarded prizes in the companyâs promotional Christmas draw.
On Monday, February 2, two of the three winners came to collect their prizes, which were presented to them by Managing Director Beverly Reddock.{{more}} She explained that the competition was run during the Christmas season and offered shoppers, who had spent $25 or more, the chance to win one of three great prizes. Reddock further stated that apart from being a promotional tool for the business, the competition was a way of thanking customers for their patronage. âItâs a form of attraction and giving back. Itâs also good advertising, and it shows good customer relations,â she related.
First prize went to Elizabeth Sylvester who won a hamper full of food and other household supplies. The Ottley Hall resident was overjoyed at her good fortune. âI feel great!â she exclaimed. Mother of four, Sylvester acknowledged that the hamper has come at an extremely convenient time for her and her family.
Cita Hazell, second-prize winner of an electric kettle, was âcaught by surpriseâ when she was notified of her win. Hazell was more than happy to receive her prize, as she admitted that she was in need of a new kettle. âItâs like a Christmas and birthday present all rolled into one!â she chuckled.
Unable to attend, Rotaja Hector, of Spring Village, was the third-prize winner of an electric iron.
