On January 22, Power received EC$1,000, while on Tuesday, January 27, Thomas walked out of the Digicel’s Corporate Offices with a Sony Bravia 32’ Plasma Television, followed by Fraser, who had in his hands a Dell Laptop.

Power, who is a receptionist with the Mustique Company on Mustique Island, was the first person to gather the letters F-R-E-E through the electronic top up system.

“I feel good,” said Power, who added that she was also hoping to win one of the bigger prizes through the Live Free Campaign. Power, who used the opportunity to buy a new handset, said that she enjoys the various deals that the company offers, especially the “talk for seven minutes and get the other minutes free” promotion.

Using the service since the launch five years ago, Thomas said that it is the first time “I ever won anything in my life and I feel very happy and excited”. The winner of the Plasma television described the promotion as “very nice because it is where Digicel gives back to the customers”. The DHL Courier also said that he is going to continue using the service. He won when he zeroed his balance on his Blackberry 8320 post paid account.

“I would like to say thanks to Digicel for giving me the opportunity to win a plasma TV and I’m looking forward to taking part in the 2009 promotions,” said Thomas.

Fraser was also delighted to get the laptop.

“It is the first time I ever won anything in my life also, and I feel very excited about winning,” he said.
