Digicel customers hit $1,000 jackpot

Nine of Digicelâs customers each received EC$1,000 from the telecommunications leader last Friday, January 16.{{more}}
The lucky locals were rewarded as part of the current promotion the telecommunications company has running, where you can win EC$1,000 daily once you top up EC$10 or more.
Receiving money were: Dr. Francis Murray, Calvert Ollivierre, Princess Chapman, Collie Small, Wendell Clarke, Leroy Peters and Patricia Pierre, Alexandra Punnette and Akeith St.Hill.
The nine were topped up with their winnings at Digicelâs Corporate Offices in the Sprotts Building on Bay Street by Marketing Executive Edmund Joachim and Marketing Manager Juno DeRoche.
Princess Chapman, who said that she felt great about the money, revealed that her daughter had dreamt that she was given a lot of money by someone, while another winner, Peters, said that he has been supporting Digicel for a long time and is glad to have got something back. âI will continue to use the bigger better network for the rest of my life,â he said.
Meanwhile, Ollivierre commented: âIt is the first time Iâm winning something and I hope it wonât be the last.â Clarke, who revealed that he only bought his phone last Christmas, said he will continue to use the service regularly.
The live free promotion ends today, January 23, while the draw for the Live Free for a year Campaign will be done on January 27th.
