Minister of Culture and Urban Development Rene Baptiste has made a donation of clothing to the House of Hope Society.{{more}}

Minister Baptiste says she hopes the donation will go a long way in helping to advance the work of the House of Hope Society. She also encouraged others to donate to charity.

The House of Hope Society, which is located in Stoney Grounds, operates a Thrift Shop to raise funds to support its programmes which target people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS as well as terminally ill senior citizens.

In accepting the donation this morning, Chief Operating Officer of the House of Hope Society Anita Nanton thanked Minister Baptiste for her kindness and urged other members of the public to assist the organization to continue its outreach programmes and Hospice care by making contributions. (API)
