Elderly, sick treated by St. George’s Cathedral

The Annual Christmas Service and Luncheon for the Elderly, Sick and Shut-in held by the St. George’s Cathedral took place on Thursday, 18th December, 2008. {{more}}

The Service, which was held at the Church of the Ascension, at Sion Hill, was conducted by Dean of the Cathedral, Rev. Mc Intosh. The Sermon was delivered by Bishop of the Windward Islands Rev. Leopold Friday. Persons from the Thompson, Louis Punnet Homes and the congregation from the Parish of St. George and St. Andrew attended.

Following the Service, they were treated to a Christmas Luncheon and later received presents.

The Luncheon was organized by the Pastoral Care and Counselling Committee of the St. George’s Cathedral.
