Karaoke enthusiasts, along with more seasoned singers and new comers, are expected to turn out to Club Calabash in Kingstown where the monthly event, which will be televised, will take place.

A member of the show’s organizing committee, Edwin ‘Sonjay’ Johnson, speaking to SEARCHLIGHT said that the concept for the show came from the need to expose local singing talent locally, then to the region and the rest of the world.

According to Johnson, individual males or females from age 14 upwards are eligible to participate in the show, which will take place on a monthly basis until a finals date is announced.

All genres of songs are welcome.

Persons who have not yet registered for the Big Break Show can still do so by filling out a form that is available at Club Calabash at Bentick Square in Kingstown. (JJ)
