The event saw parents and youngsters gathering at Nanton’s Langley Park residence for the all-evening affair, which was opened with a blessing by Father Joseph, of the Roman Catholic church.

The youngsters were treated to drinks, snacks and food and entertained by pan music from youngsters of the St. Benedict’s Hospital and magician Antonio Hoogstraten.

The arrival of ‘Father Christmas’ and Kevin “Mr Turn Me On” Lyttle later in the evening, topped off the excitement for the youngsters who received gifts and were serenaded by the internationally acclaimed singer.

Nanton expressed gratitude to all individuals and organizations that assisted in making the event possible, and guaranteed that in 2009 a bigger better event will take place. (JJ)
