UWI to hold 60th anniversary Church Service

The University of the West Indies Open Campus, SVG will, in conjunction with the St.Vincent and the Grenadines Christian Council, hold a Special Church Service this Sunday, November 16, at 4:00 pm, at the Methodist Church.{{more}} The Service is part of the activities planned to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the University of the West Indies.

Guest preacher for the occasion is Reverend William Watty, former President of the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas, who will preach the sermon.

Reverend William Watty is popular with Methodists in St.Vincent and the Grenadines and was special guest at the rededication of the Methodist Church in October last year. Methodists from throughout the Country, past and present students of the University, members of different congregations and the general public are expected to flock to the Methodist Church to be part of this special ecumenical service.

The UWI Open Campus, St.Vincent and the Grenadines extends a special invitation to all to join them in this commemorative service.
