Vibes Caribbean spreading wings

Locally produced television program Vibes Caribbean will soon to be aired on Canada’s Asian Television Network.

This announcement was made by the programme’s producer Randy ‘Randy D’ Dopwell.{{more}}

In a press release, Dopwell indicated that the network, which caters mainly to the Asian and Caribbean communities in the multicultural North American country, will carry an initial twelve episodes of the programme.

Dopwell, who is also the host of the programme, will travel to Canada next week, where he will sign the contract to seal the deal.

Last year, the programme, of which he is also the host, began airing on the region’s Carib Vision network.

He aims to have the programme aired in New York, USA, following his visit o Canada.

While in Canada, Dopwell will host a number of fundraising events: a Vincy Reunion Party in Toronto on Sunday, October 12th, followed by a ‘Legends of Soca’ concert on the 25th, and in Montreal on the 26th.

These events will feature Vincentian artistes residing overseas, local foods and giveaways. (JJ)
