Among the objectives of the group are the restoration of peace and serenity to the community, the secured wellbeing of residents, and providing support to persons affected by the recent spate of sexual crimes.

A meeting to further discuss plans for the official start of the programme will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at 5:00 p.m, at Hill Top Tabernacle Church.

Superintendent Rozendal Francis, Police District Commander, and Inspector Johnathan Nicholls of the Police/Public Relations Department will attend the meeting and offer advice and guidance to members of the Watch.

Residents of the area are also invited to attend.
