Ten US Dive operators to visit SVG

The Ministry of Tourism will host the visit to St. Vincent and the Grenadines of ten Dive Operators from the U.S.A. from Monday, 22nd September, to Saturday, 27th September, 2008.{{more}} The objective of the visit is for the operators to familiarize themselves with the dive aspect of the marine tourism product of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Dive Operators hail from various dive companies throughout the US such as âDessert Divers South Westâ, in Texas, âJust Add Waterâ in Ohio and âMiddle Tennessee Scuba & Swimâ ,in Tennessee.
During their stay they will participate in diving activities through local dive operator companies, receive presentations from dive operators and go on tours of Kingstown, the turtle Sanctuary in Bequia and hotel overviews.
A representative from the Ministry of Tourismâs Public Relations representatives in the US and Canada – âSpring Oâ Brien and Co. Ltdâ will accompany the Dive operators on their visit.
