ECTEL to conduct business survey

The Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL) will be conducting a survey of small and medium enterprises in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from September 19 to October 10, 2008. The survey is part of the annual review of the telecommunications sector and will assess the use of telecommunications services by the business sector in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}
A release from ECTEL said that enumerators will be visiting business centres in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to interview business owners and managers to determine the extent to which telecommunications and ICT services are used by business. The enumeration process will be facilitated by the Central Statistics Office of the Ministry of Finance.
The survey will also be looking at areas such as access to services, knowledge of available options, perceptions of cost of services, perceptions of importance of telecommunications and ICT services to business and level of investment in telecommunications and ICT services.
