This is some of the feedback customers gave Digicel last Saturday, August 30, at Heritage Square, in Kingstown, when the telecommunications giant’s ‘Welcome to the better life campaign’ was extended to the streets.

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. last Saturday, Digi workers tended to the telecommunication needs of customers by offering deals on numerous handsets which included persons buying phones for as low as $75 and getting $70 free credit. Persons gathered in huge numbers to take advantage of the various deals. And if you wanted a phone free of cost, you got one as Digicel allowed persons to trade in their Cable & Wireless handset for a Digicel phone, free of cost.

Digicel did not forget the children as there were treats for them also which included face painting and music.

Commenting on the event which was described as an end of month sale with a family fun day aspect, Corporate Accounts Manager Brenda Barbour said: “while we celebrate our Better Life Campaign, it gives us great pleasure to take our service right to the customer on the street. the customer is always the main focus of whatever we do and it gives us pleasure to see them delighted as they connect with the Bigger Better Network.”

Also commenting was Marketing Executive Edmund Joachim. “We realised it was the end of month as well as the beginning of school, so we wanted to offer persons the ability to purchase affordable and good handsets for the new term, while giving them a number of gifts with each exchange and purchase”.
