The school received 100 per cent passes in seven subject areas: Integrated Science, Physical Education, Office Administration, Electronic Document Preparation and Management, Food and Nutrition, Clothing and Textiles and Home Economics Management.
The three most outstanding performers from the school are Christine Browne, Calicia Glasgow and Koriene Chance.
Speaking to Searchlight on Wednesday, August 27, Calicia said she was not expecting to be one of the top performers, but feels great knowing she is. âI was expecting to do my best. It feels good to know that I came out in the top three,â she said smiling. The 17-year-old passed nine subjects. She received grade ones in Information Technology, Social Studies, Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business, and grade twoâs in Spanish and Math and English A. She scored grade three in Biology and French.
The daughter of Sharon Glasgow is hoping to pursue a career in Accounts or something in the area of business.
Richmond Hill resident Christine Browne said her success is as a result of lot of studying.
Christine was successful in all nine subjects she wrote with grade one passes in English B, Geography, Information Technology, and Math. She scored grade two passes in Biology and English A and grade three passes in Chemistry, French and Visual Arts.
The well-spoken Christine, who is the daughter of Ronald and Ann Browne, said she is proud of her achievements. âIâm glad to make the school happy with my grades and resultsâ she stated. She wants to pursue a career that brings together Art and Computing, perhaps something in the area of graphic art.
Koriene Chance also performed creditably. She passed nine subjects. She received grades one in Principles of Accounts, Information Technology, Office Adminstration and grade twos in Spanish, English A, French, Integrated Science, Math, and Principles of Business. (VM)
