Courts to test North American market

The Caribbeanâs furniture, electronics and appliances giant, Courts, will make its debut in North America at the annual West Indian Labour Day Carnival in Brooklyn on September 1.{{more}}
The chain, known for its vibrant tropical yellow-themed stores, will make a big splash on Eastern Parkway, in Brooklyn, as part of the popular Borokeete USA Mas band. Courts Caribbean will lead the band with a Queen costume that will showcase the companyâs dynamic yellow, red and blue colors. One of the Caribbeanâs top entertainers is set to keep fans jumping to pulsating calypso and reggae beats. Fifty revelers, decked out in shimmering yellow costumes will treat Caribbean nationals to a real burst of sunshine.
Courts Caribbean is also set to bring a taste of its varied in-store offerings to the parkway as two tents will be available with spokespersons to answer questions and update consumers on the storeâs North American debut.
The company will also be participating in the Irie Jamboree on August 31st and team members will be available at that event as well.

To follow on these well-known traditions of connecting families and friends, Courts is pleased to announce the opening of its first USA store in Brooklyn, New York.
This new furniture, electronics and appliances store will be opening in the Flatbush area in Fall 2008 and will offer New Yorkers the unique service of island delivery to their loved ones in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, and Trinidad. New York natives will also have the option to purchase items for their own homes. Courts will also provide credit facilities for its customers through its EASY FINANCING in-store credit program
