bMobile customers can now roam free

Vincentians travelling to other Caribbean destinations no longer have to worry about exorbitant fees or about experiencing difficulties in staying connected to their loved ones when they are away from home.{{more}}

They can stay connected all the time via the Roam Free service offered by Cable and Wireless.

Customers of Cable and Wireless who travel with their bMobile phone in Caribbean will pay the same rate for calls as they would when calling from St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Launching the service at bMobile’s Retail Store at Halifax Street, Kingstown, on Friday, August 22, 2008, Foster Hannaway, Vice President Mobile Marketing, told the customers in attendance the feature is another first for Cable & Wireless.

“You can call home at the same rates it would cost to use your mobile phone at home,” said Hannaway.

Customers do not have to sign up for this service, as it is standard, Hannaway said. Once a customer has a bMobile phone they automatically have the service.

Students studying across the Caribbean, persons vacationing and doing business in the region are encouraged to take advantage of the service.(HN)
