Pharmacy Council receives Caribbean Awards
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Pharmacy Council, under the chairmanship of Joann Ince-Jack, is now the proud recipient of two awards for its leading role in spearheading pharmacy regulations in the Caribbean.{{more}}
These awards were granted at the 28th Annual Caribbean Association of Pharmacists (CAP) Convention which took place in Trinidad and Tobago August 10-17, 2008.
The Council was bestowed with the âExcellence in Regulatory Affairs Awardsâ, which are granted to regulatory individuals or bodies that have demonstrated outstanding dedication to high ethical standards and have carried out their duties in a manner that has benefited Pharmacy and the community at large.
The SVG Pharmacy Council has been proactive in monitoring and proposing legislation to regulate the profession, and is working assiduously to protect the profession of Pharmacy and the interest of the wider public.
This is the first of such prestigious awards received by this country. Jack was invited to make a presentation on the state of Regulatory Affairs in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
