Kelectric/Karib Cable donates Engine to fisherman

Leslie Hazelwood of Barrouallie won the class 2 category in the Fisherman’s Day Fishing competition held on May 12, 2008, at the Callaiqua Fisheries Centre.{{more}}

Hazelwood brought in a catch of 110 lbs. He is now the proud owner of a brand new boat engine, compliments Kelectric / Karib Cable. Kelectric is a major contracting company operating in the Calliaqua area.

The donation of $5,800 for the outboard engine shows the company’s commitment to cultural enhancement. The chairman of this year’s Fisherman’s day celebration Leonard Charles expressed his gratitude to the company for their donation and looks forward to working closely with the company in upcoming years.
