The group, which consisted of fourteen youngsters between 17 and eighteen-years-old, and six adults, arrived in St Vincent and the Grenadines on June 11th and left on August 1st.

While here, the group participated in hiking, swimming, playing the steel pan, visits to the Grenadines, along with community exercises. All of the youths are college graduates who are now moving on to university. Each of them had an individual project to research while on the island, and they were assisted by the members of Club St. Vincent.

The English youths also had the opportunity to stay with families for a weekend. Some community work was done on the Lodge Village Government School where the group stayed. Other activities involved assistance at the Red Cross, Library programme, and Vinsave vacation programmes. The local group was commended for their support and courtesy to the LYEG.
