Adams places second runner-up in the 47th Jaycees Caribbean Queen Show

The Carnival Development Corporation is pleased to announce that Nekesha Adams, 1st Runner-up in Miss SVG 2008, who represented St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the 47th Annual Miss Jaycees Caribbean Queen Show in Antigua on Friday, August 1st, 2008, returned to the State on Sunday, August 3rd, 2008, accompanied by Avis Yorke, Deputy Chairperson of the Beauty Shows Committee of the Carnival Development Corporation.{{more}}

Nekesha competed with 10 other contestants and placed 2nd Runner-up. Marah Walter, of Dominica, a contestant in MISS CARIVAL 2008, won the competition, with Soriah John, of St. Lucia, also a contestant in MISS CARIVAL 2008, taking the 1st Runner-up position.

Nekesha received a number of gifts from various business houses in Antigua, including Diamonds Internationals.
