Jones-Morgan, in delivering the feature address, gave the officers a number of guidelines, which she said would assist the officers to function efficiently in their roles.

Among these guidelines, the head of the legal affairs department urged the NCOs to become credible, respect the authority of others, and exhibit at all times exemplary integrity and honesty.

The NCOs were also called to manage themselves well and remain committed and loyal to their organization.

The Attorney General also reminded the officers that they are the backbone of the police force, who are expected to give support to the head, the Commissioner of Police.

She explained that in any organization or body, the backbone cannot survive without the head and vice versa.

Jones-Morgan said that the officers need to be geared to the times and anchored to the head.(JJ)
