Methodist youth camp at Richmond

The Methodist Church – Kingstown/Chateaubelair Circuit will host the triennial Youth Camp of the South Caribbean District of the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas. The District consists of Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago and hosts St. Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}

The camp will be held at the Richmond Vale Academy from Wednesday, July 23 to 30, 2008, under the theme, “Come Holy Spirit: Equip us for Your Service.” The main objective of the week-long camp is to encourage young people to use their gifts and talents for service in the Church and the Caribbean, and also to help them to understand and appreciate their Caribbean history, and to recognise that we are all one Caribbean Family. Topics to be covered include ‘Spirituality in a Modern age’, ‘Positive Discipleship for a balanced Attitude towards Life and Living’ and a documentary entitled, “Keep Your underwear on.”
