In addition to its special Senior Citizens’ class, the company also held training for members of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force in its first week. This year over 270 students registered for places in the week-long sessions.

“Every year we aim to increase the numbers of students that we can accommodate to this programme. As a telecommunications company it is our business not only to sell a service but to also provide some level training on the services we offer, which prove extremely beneficial to these developing minds. We are in a technological age and as such must prepare our students for the world they are living in,” said VP Human Resources Sandra Matthews.

The 2008 Cable & Wireless Internet Summer School runs until mid August.
