Kishawn wins Bible quiz

A third form student of the St. Vincent Grammar School has emerged as the winner of the Scriptural Search Secondary School Bible Quiz (SSBQ) for May 2008. Kishawn Richards’ was drawn ahead of entries from eight other secondary schools.{{more}}

Kishawn received his prize from Joel Jack of Scriptural Search in the presence of the Principal, Deputy Principal, Form Teacher and other students of his form on Monday 9th June, 2008. Speaking at the brief ceremony Principal Frank Jones congratulated Kishawn and encouraged the boys to participate in extra curricula activities. He also suggested to them that activities of a spiritual nature can go a long way in their all round development.

The winner of this monthly Bible Quiz receives a Bible and $100. This is an attempt on the part of the organizers to encourage the nation’s youths to read and understand the Bible. During the months of July and August the quiz will be opened to the general public as schools will be on vacation.

Scriptural Search is an interactive Bible discussion programme heard every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. on WEFM 99.9 for the past four years. The hosts are Joel Jack and Edley Dunbar.
