This countryâs only Full Service Telecommunication Provider, Cable & Wireless, on Friday, 13th, donated the sum of $1,000 to Marilyn Thomas, mother of Moesha Thomas, who is currently suffering from an unknown illness which has her unable to attend school for the past month.{{more}}
Moesha, who is a Grade Five student of the Kingstown Anglican School, has been suffering with severe headaches and swelling in various parts of her body for the past six months. Marilyn, Moeshaâs mother, made her appeal public in this weekâs edition of The News Newspaper and a staff member of Cable & Wireless quickly contacted managers and asked if the company would be able to assist Moesha.
VP Mobile, Marketing & Broadband, Foster Hannaway, made the presentation at a handing over this afternoon at the bMobile store where a very grateful Marilyn Thomas received the cheque. Thomas expressed her gratitude towards Cable & Wireless and promised members of staff present she would be sure to inform them of the outcome of the trip.
