Cable & Wireless assists student

Cable & Wireless St.Vincent and the Grenadines Ltd have once again demonstrated its commitment to the youths of St.Vincent and the Grenadines. On Monday 14th April, Chief Executive Angus Steele donated a pair of spectacles to Kieara Richards, a student of the Sion Hill Government School, as she started the new school term.{{more}}

“We see Cable and Wireless as part of the Sion Hill community. I am very pleased to make this contribution to a young person from this community and I hope that these spectacles will make learning easier for Kieara. I am particularly please to see the passion for learning that is exhibited at the school and the fact that the teachers are looking out for their students. The climate is conducive for learning and my belief is that no child should be left behind because of her circumstance”, said Angus Steele. He also went on to state that Cable and Wireless is dedicated to developing youths and giving back to society.

Principal of the Sion Hill government School Virginia Liverpool commented “This is a very good gesture on behalf of Cable and Wireless and it will go a long way in helping in Kieara’s development”
