Sion Hill Bay/Bay Hill sends SOS to youths

The Sion Hill Bay/Bay Hill Neighbourhood Watch is making a determined effort to get the young people in the two communities which make up the Neighbourhood Watch to become more involved in its activities.{{more}}

This is as a result of complaints by the young people that the Neighbourhood Watch appears to be concentrating its efforts on activities which are of interest only to the adult residents.

In this regard, therefore, an invitation is being extended to young people living in Sion Hill Bay and Bay Hill to attend the next monthly general meeting, which will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at the residence of Annette and Francis Llewellyn, beginning at 5:00 pm.

At the meeting, the youngsters will have an opportunity to dialogue with the adults, with a view towards crafting an appropriate programme of involvement and support.

The Sion Hill Bay/Bay Hill Neighbourhood Watch stands ready and willing to forge links with the young people and is anticipating a mutually rewarding session on Saturday.
