Ministry unveils two CSME billboards in the Grenadines

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and Trade Sir Louis Straker unveiled two billboards in the Grenadines this week as part of the Ministry’s campaign to sensitise nationals to the effects of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME).{{more}}

The billboards are located at Port Elizabeth, Bequia, and Clifton, Union Island.

The unveiling of these billboards was preceded by brief ceremonies which were addressed by Sir Louis, officials of the Ministry of Trade and the Parliamentary Representatives of the Northern and Southern Grenadines, respectively.

The ceremony in Bequia took place on Tuesday, while the Union Island event took place yesterday.

The CARICOM Single Market and Economy is intended to provide more and better opportunities for nationals of the region to produce and sell goods and to attract investment.
