Power company presents cheques to groups

During a brief presentation ceremony at St. Vincent Electricity Services Ltd (VINLEC)’s Board Room on Tuesday, cheques valued at $1,000 each were presented to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Children Welfare Fund, The National Broadcasting Corporation’s- National Medical Fund and the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Under-19 cricket team. Another cheque valued at $1,500 was presented to the national Society of Persons with Disabilities.{{more}}

The monies were donated to aid the various causes of the groups, and in the case of cricket, to assist the SVG Under-19 team to participate in the Windward Islands Under-19 tournament, which will be held in Grenada. Over the years, VINLEC has been contributing to Health, Sports, Charity and other causes.
