Friday, February 23, 2008, was a happy day for the patients at the Mental Hospital and Lewis Punnett Home, as representatives from the state-owned National Commercial Bank (NCB) (SVG) Ltd made their way to Villa to bring cheer to the staff and patients as they have done for several years now.{{more}}

Toiletries valued at $1,000 were handed over by Cheryl Rodriguez, who was accompanied by Ian Haynes and Vern Hazell of the NCB.

Sister Ynolde Smart and Sister Jacqueline Hadaway accepted the gifts on behalf of the Mental Hospital, while Sister Ellen Wilson accepted those on behalf of the Lewis Punnett Home.

The dedicated nurses thanked the NCB for their generosity over the years and said that the toiletries will go a long way towards the care and comfort of the patients.

Some of the patients present also praised the NCB and prayed God’s continued blessings on the Management and Staff.

There are 210 patients at the Mental Hospital and 102 at the Lewis Punnett Home.
