Rotary South clinic a success

The Rotary Club South, International Hospital for Children (IHC) and Ministry of Health partnership completed one of their biggest Clinics over the past week at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.{{more}}
When the visiting Medical Team of seven from the IHC, Virginia, USA, finally ended the Clinics on Saturday last, over three hundred young Vincentians had been assessed by the four Specialists on the team. Of this number, just over sixty persons received surgery, seventeen were given referrals for medical intervention at the IHC, Virginia, and seventy-five underwent echocardiograms.
The visiting team included Specialists in Cardiology, Urology, Ophthalmology and Plastic Surgery, with assistance from an Anesthesiologist and two Administrators. Completing the team was a Cardiologist from St. Lucia and several doctors and nurses from the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
The visit by the Medical Team from the IHC is the second for the year.
