Brent Bailey is Chief Engineer
Thirty-seven year-old Brent Bailey is today completing his first week on the job as this countryâs Chief Engineer.
Bailey, who has been an engineer for the past fourteen years, is a graduate of Tufts University in Boston, USA.{{more}}
The Carierre resident holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Civil Engineering, and a Masters of Science
in Geotechnical Engineering, both from Tufts. He is also a certified Project Management Professional.
Baileyâs two-year contract with the government took effect on February 15, 2008.
Prior to taking up this post, Bailey held posts of Senior Technical Officer in the Ministry of Works, Engineering Consultant to National Properties Ltd., Project Manager to the Airport Project and Consultant to the Port Elizabeth Rehabilitation Project.
Bailey is a former student of the St. Vincent Grammar School.
He is this countryâs fifth Chief Engineer, and is the son of the late Palmore Bailey, a former Headteacher, and the late Reuben Bailey, who was St. Vincent and the Grenadinesâ first Chief Engineer.
