Awards were presented by SVGâs delegate to Miss Universe 2004 Laferne Fraser and parent Yasmin Adams. The club also used the opportunity to present a cheque for $1,000 towards purchasing a prosthetic leg for a member of the collegeâs ancillary staff who lost a limb to diabetes last year.
Fraser, who is also a member of faculty at the institution, received the cheque on behalf of the College.
