Hitz FM offering one bike every month in 2008 to listeners

Listeners to Hitz FM have the chance to win one bike every month in 2008. This was announced on Monday by SVG Broadcasting Corporation Group, parent company of the radio station.

The give away promotion is made possible through a marketing partnership between SVGBC and Sailors Cycle Centre for 2008.{{more}}

Sailors Cycle Centre was one of the business partners that participated in the Hitz FM Christmas Bonanza which saw one lucky person walk away with a 1st prize of a Mountain Bike for Christmas. According to Trevor Bailey, Managing Director of Sailors Cycle Centre, “the promotion on Hitz FM and sister station SVGTV was so successful that we decided to team up with the radio station to offer a Mountain bike each month throughout the year of 2008.” He further added that they had 280 bikes in stock for Christmas, but by the end of the promotion, 240 of these bikes were sold.

Head of Sales and Marketing at SVG Broadcasting Corporation, Candice Sealey, stated that it is always pleasing when clients are able to see good returns on their advertising spend. She further mentioned that “this just shows the power of advertising as a whole and advertising with Hitz FM and SVGTV”.

The first bike will be given away at the end of January and listeners can tune in to Hitz FM103.7/91.5 from 7th January to find out how to win their prize.
