Vincentian woman arrested for liquid cocaine in Trinidad
A Vincentian woman is facing serious jail time in Trinidad and Tobago, if she is found guilty of trying to smuggle approximately EC$4 million worth of liquid cocaine out of Tobago.##m:[more]##
Tessa Baptiste, a seamstress, was arrested while trying to board a flight to Gatwick, United Kingdom. She was charged with trying to smuggle 20.7 kilogrammes of liquid cocaine soaked in 31 pieces of clothing from the Crown Point Airport, Tobago.
Baptiste has been denied bail and ordered to return to court on December 27.
