On Friday, 30th November, this country’s only Full Service Telecoms provider Cable & Wireless launched their 2007 Christmas Sweepstakes in Union Island. The launch was an all day event which began with a Customer Appreciation Day where customers were treated to music and live refreshments as they carried out their Cable & Wireless transactions.{{more}} The Launch came to a grand finale with a Christmas Concert, with performances from some of Union’s very talented youngsters, including singers Alama and Shenelle and even salsa dancing in the square, with local artiste Wetty being a main attraction.

Cable & Wireless launched its Christmas promotion on the mainland on the 23rd November, and customers have been winning lots of prizes such as hams, turkeys, bMobile credit and, of course, most now have the chance to win the grand prizes of a Trip to New York City, a $10,000 Shopping Spree at Courts and a brand new Suzuki Grand Vitara. In addition to that, some lucky bMobile customers have also been winning themselves $100 in daily cash prizes, some included Uriel Thomas, John Sam, Rohan Poyer, Marcus Richards and Carlos John, just to name a few. The Cable & Wireless Christmas Sweepstakes continue up until December 31st, 2007.
