At a media briefing held on Monday at the head office in Paulâs Avenue, Sales and Marketing Manager Anthony Dennie announced that the company has realized a gross profit of EC$35 Million – nine million more than 2006.
Dennie said that the new promotion called â18 Gs with Christmas threesâ and âLotto Lotta Christmas Giveawaysâ are means of giving back to the public.
In the 18 Gs scratch promotion, one individual stands the chance of winning EC$1,000 a month, or $500 a month in 2008.
Players must collect five non-winning tickets, for the draw, which takes place on December 21st.
The Lotto Lotta Giveaways is a continuation of a promotion which took place last Christmas, but instead of spelling and winning ham or rum, players can now win a food hamper by spelling the word WIN.
Dennie appealed to the public to continue supporting the new promotions, as well as the ongoing ones, as this support helps the Authority to fulfill its mandate of developing sports and culture in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
He indicated that work on the Victoria Park is 90% completed, and soon there will be work on the Biabou hard court.
So far this year, the National Lottery Authorities has paid out close to $1 million in grand prize winnings.
