16 motorcycles for SVG Police Force

Members of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force will be receiving 16 new motorcycles, donated by the Embassy of Taiwan and the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}

Managing Director of KP Marine, Keith Garnet Howard, told SEARCLIGHT that eight of these motorcycles arrived in the country on November 8, while the remaining eight will arrive between December and January.

The 2008 model motorcycles range from eight 900cc, four 250cc and four 400cc.

Howard also pointed out that between November 4-6 four police officers benefited from a training session on basic motorcycle maintenance and safety and defensive riding, that was held in St. Lucia and was hosted by Yamaha Motorcycle in Japan through local distributors A.F Valmont Ltd and K.P Marine of St. Vincent.
