The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Hotel and Tourism Association will stage its 2nd Annual Vincy Flavours on Saturday, November 17th, at Heritage Square, Kingstown.{{more}}
The event, which will feature Culinary and Bar and Beverage Competitions, aims to raise public education about modern culinary
practices in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, raise standards of professionalism and excellence, promote camaraderie and educational opportunities among food and beverage professionals and associates, among other things.
The event will also be used to select a Culinary Team and Bartenders to represent St. Vincent and the Grenadines in Taste of the Caribbean 2008. Participants must utilize at least of two of this yearâs featured Ingredients: Yam, Callaloo, Herbs, Pork, Golden Apple and Rum.
Special prizes will be given for the best use of each feature ingredient
The theme of this yearâs activity is: âThe Essence of Tradition – Savouring a cocktail of SVGâs Food and Beverage Flavours.â
