Rotary brings more doctors

The Rotary Club of St. Vincent South has facilitated yet another visit by a team of medical doctors and assistants from the International Hospital for Children Programme, Virginia, USA.{{more}} This visit was also facilitated by the Ministry of Health and particularly, the Management at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where the medical examinations and operations took place.

The medical team consists of persons from Virginia who specialized in Orthopedic Surgery. Also accompanying them were two officials from the management team of the International Hospital for Children Programme in Virginia. Of particular significance on this trip is a new dimension of partnerships with the Ministries of Health in Grenada, Dominica and St. Lucia which all sent one Orthopedic Surgeon to St. Vincent to actively participate in the examinations and medical procedures completed.
