“When we founded Faith Temple (church), there was no pre-school, and our youngest daughter was pre-school age, so we started the school,” Daisy Keys explained to SEARCHLIGHT.

The Keys, who have been ministers for 52 years, spent eight years in the Caribbean, starting with St Vincent and the Grenadines, in what Daisy describes as “gratifying and exciting work.”

The Keys were in St Vincent for the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies (PAWI) St Vincent and the Grenadines’ district’s 40th anniversary celebrations, last weekend.

Principal of the 35-student strong Pre School Carlita Dennie told SEARCHLIGHT that she is overwhelmed at the Keys’ donation.

“It was an answer to prayer, because we needed some sleeping cots for the children, so we are going to use the money to source some,” Dennie said.

The brief handing over ceremony took place last Friday, October 12th, at the pre school, downstairs the church at New Montrose.(KJ)
