Vincentian impresses Rising Star judges

Digicel wants you to vote for your favourite Digicel Rising Star contestant.

Last Sunday, saw the second batch of eight contestants giving their all before a live studio audience in Barbados, where judges Serpent, Vynette “Vinny V” Frederick and Wayne “Kool” Simmons critiqued their performances.{{more}}

Included among the eight who sang their hearts out was St Vincent and the Grenadines’ very own Jeslyn Holder of Byrea who performed Billy Ocean’s rendition of the “Colour of Love.”

The 33-year-old trainee Marine Pilot from Byrea got excellent reviews from judges, and with your vote, he is expected to make it into the next round of the competition.

The other contestants who performed last Sunday were: Catriona Lake of Anguilla, Devon Flanders-Grenada, Britney Mayers-Barbados, Thalia King-Antigua and Barbuda, Barry Auguiste-St Lucia, Nicola Thompson-St.Kitts and Tasha Peltier of Dominica.

The other contestant representing this country in the 2007 Digicel Rising Stars competition is 16-year old Naveecha James of Barrouallie.
