PM calls Eustace’s address ‘Rubbish’

Rubbish! That’s how Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves has described the address to the nation delivered by Opposition Leader Arnhim Eustace last week Wednesday.{{more}}

Dr Gonsalves, who was attending the United Nation’s General Assembly at the time of the address by his political rival, said that he (Eustace) is nothing but a bluff, and dismissed him as “not a leader.”

“He is the biggest grand-charger in the history of politics in St Vincent and the Grenadines,” Dr Gonsalves said.

Addressing the comments made by Eustace on the “Beach Affair”, Dr Gonsalves said that Eustace is always saying that he has information on matters, but never reveals anything of consequence.

Dr Gonsalves explained that while he has indicated that polygraph testing was done in the past, such testing had to be organized overseas.

He stressed that St Vincent and the Grenadines did not own a lie detector machine, and did not have the expertise to conduct the test.

“To get any lie detector test done, you have to make arrangements to bring people in who are qualified, with the necessary equipment,” Dr Gonsalves said.

“I don’t know what happens between the two ears of Mr. Eustace. What happens to his brain on these matters?” Dr Gonsalves asked.
