Pastor Alan Todd of Global Ministries told SEARCHLIGHT that these pupils were chosen because they are part of the school feeding programme which is sponsored by their group in collaboration with Compassionate Outreach Fellowship International (COFI). He said, however, that all the other students will receive some supplies.

The group handed over notepads, pencils, erasers, markers, crayons and Bibles, with an estimated value of CAN $500.

The group hopes to make their association with the school a long-term one, and plans to make donations to other schools as well. They are also planning to take their charity drive to El Salvador in the future.(SB)
