More training for Principals

Principals and deputy principals in primary and secondary schools, as well as multipurpose centres, who were appointed at the beginning of the current academic year and also during the academic year 2006/2007, this week participated in sessions on Basic Civil Service Procedures, organized and delivered for the third successive year by the Ministry of Education.{{more}}

According to a release from the Chief Education Officer, the Ministry of Education considers it absolutely necessary for school leaders to have some exposure to the fundamentals of civil service procedures, since they are required to use these very procedures in their daily routines.

Principals and deputy principals of secondary schools and multipurpose centres participated in their session on Tuesday, September 25, while headteachers of primary schools participated in a similar session on Thursday, September 27.
