Global Ministries donates to Milton Cato Memorial Hospital

The Milton Cato Memorial Hospital has received a donation of several medical items from the Global Apostolic Ministries.

The Toronto based group told SEARCHLIGHT that in February this year, Pastor Alan Todd visited this country and did some investigations into how they could assist this country.{{more}} While here, he visited the hospital and decided to make the contribution.

Kristy Salmon, another member of the team and a nurse at the Humber River Regional Hospital in Toronto, told SEARCHLIGHT because they knew exactly what they wanted to donate, she sent emails to her co-workers and other members of the church asking them to contribute educational and medical equipment to give to the people.

Salmon also said that they chose this country because many Vincentians attend her church in Canada, and they are planning to make more donations in the future.

Some of the items donated to the hospital include Suction Catheters, syringes, gloves, masks and bandages. Yesterday, the team also donated educational supplies to the Stubbs Government School. (SB)
