Lectures on Slave Trade continue at Methodist Church Hall

The fifth in the series of public lectures to commemorate the bicentenary of the Abolition of the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade will take place at the Methodist Church Hall this evening commencing at 7:00 p.m.{{more}}

The lecture will be presented by Professor Woodville Marshall of the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies. He will speak on the topic “Black economic enfranchisement after emancipation.”

The event is being organized by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Bicentenary Organizing Committee under the theme “Moving humanity across the ocean, creating history and a new civilization”.

An invitation is extended to the general public to attend this important lecture.
