The supplies were handed over last week by Karen Hall-Arthur, on behalf of the group, which was formed four years ago under the leadership of Roxie Irish.

The group was formed out of its members’ compassionate hearts and willingness to meet the challenge of helping those who are battling medical conditions in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The group is made up of 20 persons who are dedicated and committed to making a difference in the lives of others.

For the past four years, the group has come together on the 1st Saturday after Labour Day to have what is called “Vincy Day”, where only Vincentian foods are served. The proceeds from this

function are used to purchase the medical supplies to be donated.
